Followers or views: two TikTok rates
Because TikTok shows videos to non-followers, engagement against views is often more useful than against followers. This tool shows both. By followers: average likes, comments and shares per video divided by followers. By views: the same total divided by average views.
What a healthy TikTok rate looks like
TikTok rates tend to run higher than Instagram. As a rough guide by followers, under 2% is low, 2% to 8% is typical and above that is strong. By views, many good videos see 4% to 10% of viewers engaging. Niche, video length and posting frequency all move these numbers.
Fetching from a profile
The fetch reads a public profile’s follower count and estimates likes per video as total likes divided by the number of videos. That is only an estimate; profiles do not show per-video comments, shares or views, so add those from one or two typical videos for a fuller picture.
Planning a likes or followers pack
If your videos get healthy views but few likes, TikTok likes on the best one can bring the numbers in line. If the profile count lags behind your views, a followers pack sized to your views makes more sense.
Ask about this calculator
Is the fetch exact?
No. The likes figure from a profile is an average over all videos. For accuracy, type in figures from recent videos.
Does the calculator store anything?
No. It runs in your browser.
Why is my rate by views lower than by followers?
If your videos reach many non-followers, views can be much larger than your follower count, which lowers the rate by views.
