Why 500 is a popular first pack
Five hundred sits in a sweet spot. A profile with a couple of hundred followers often looks like a friends-and-family account; one with 700 or 800 looks like something people outside that circle have found. Does 500 match your account?
500 works best if you currently have somewhere between zero and about 1,500 followers. Two quick checks:
- Posts: aim for at least nine posts, so the grid fills a full screen on a phone.
- Likes: if your recent posts get only one or two likes, think about adding a small 500 likes pack to your pinned post so the profile does not look lopsided.
If you already have 2,000 or more, 500 will barely show; 1,000 or 5,000 is the better step.
